A strange and shocking incident took place in the Catalonia region of Spain, where a 70-year-old beekeeper attacked traffic police using his bees.
The incident happened near the N-II road in the town of Cervià. The police stopped the man for not wearing a seatbelt. When officers asked him to take a breath test for alcohol, he refused.
The police tried to convince him, but the man got angry. He stepped out of his van, opened the back door, and released thousands of bees onto the officers. The bees started attacking, forcing the police to run and hide inside a nearby restaurant.
Both officers were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Witnesses said the man also threatened to kill the officers.
Later, the bees were controlled, and the man was arrested. He now faces serious charges, including attacking police, driving under the influence, and not wearing a seatbelt.
Such a bizarre case of someone using bees as a weapon is extremely rare and has shocked people across Spain.
